About Sandra Harvey
Sandra Harvey is an American fashion designer catering to woman inclined with a desire for demure sexiness, while blending casual elegance with dark undertones, she claims to sew a little magic into every seam.
While living in Asheville, North Carolina, known for its highly acclaimed Culinary Culture, she was inspired to design a Chef Jacket that is elegant and functional. She attended Culinary School, and did internships with some of the areas most highly respected chefs.
Sandra currently lives by the Seaside in Laguna Beach, California.
She holds memberships in following female dominated organizations:
Les Dames d' Escoffier Los Angeles Orange County Chapter,
WCR Women Chef and Restaurateurs,
and Cherry Bombe.
Her hobbies include creative writing and storytelling, foraging for wild mushrooms while wearing a red velvet cape, and being in love.
“I wanted a beautiful chef coat, a design that would match the artistic flair the chefs put into their food, but at the same time keep it simple and pure with respect to the tradition of cleanliness and form. The Jackets are designed for a hourglass figure, so the waist is slightly nipped in, and room for fuller hips, with deep side pockets for a high fashion look.
I use a breathable lightweight twill with spandex for comfort.
The sleeve is cut slender with a tall mock French cuff that can be pulled up rather then having to take the time to roll. The collars are all unique and elegant.
They are all quite lovely and will bring you lots of compliments and positive attention when worn"
